Paul and I had a great day of climbing at JT. This was the first time out to JT during this late 2009 season.....and it felt good.
We climbed at Indian Cove near the Feudal Wall; Driving Limitations (5.8), Noriega does Panama (10a), Dry Lake (10b), Court Jester (5.7), Castrum (10a), Duchess, (5.6), Duchess Right (5.7...OW; ugh!), Linda's Face (5.6) and Right V Crack (10a)
Jim and I had a great day (1/2 day) climbing and killing our finger tips on the hard and sharp crsytals at the Hungover Wall at Keller Pk. My finger tips were wasted after a few climbs....ugh!
We climbed Easy Climb (5.8), Brians Song (10c), More Punk than Funk (10c), Joe's Problem (11a) nope ....not today, and Pressure Drop (10b)
Dayhiked Polemonium and North Palisade from South Lake TH. While on Polem, I bumped into Mike, Wes and John. On Nor Pal, I met Howie (SMG) and client John. The talus slopes getting back to T-bolt & Bishop Pass kill my feet (again)Other than that, it was a beauty of a day with all the fall colors bursting
Hiked up Old Army Pass and tagged Langley and then exited via new Army Pass. The trail goes by the last snow patch on Old Army Pass, essentially snow free
Got up Sill via the north gully and then tagged Gayley on the way down. Very little boot track on the glacier or on the Sill-Apex snow slope. Bumped into Brian on Sill and several other West LA folks down by the glacier. Started ~5am and got back a little after 7pm
